Lenses

CCTV cameras come with a default lens. These can be changed to a different lens to modify the width and height of the cameras' view. For monitoring wide areas and areas where cameras are installed near the floor, lenses with lower focal lengths are preferred. For narrow areas like hallways or areas where cameras are installed at very high locations, lenses with higher focal lengths are preferred.
